Ladies and gentlemen, dear friends,

on this evening we will take you into the world of the ancient music history of the orient with beautiful love ballads. The highlight of the evening is a well-known love song from Armenia - Sari Gelin tells a Romeo and Juliet story about the love of a Christian for a Muslim woman. In a masterful interpretation - sung and accompanied on bouzuki - songs by Ibrahim Keivowho is a celebrated star both in his native Syria and in Europe.

At 18 May at 8.15 pm we play Armenian music from our Sari Gelin Programme accompanying the film The colour of the pomegranate (USSR, 1969 by Sergei Paradzhanov, Armenia) in the SoundtraX Lounge series at the Cinema in the Künstlerhaus.
The concert Sari Gelin will also be performed - with a similar line-up - at the 11 June at 7 pm in the St Paul's Church Bremerhaven and on 25 June at 8 pm in St. Michael's in Hildesheim be heard.
