performative concert with contemporary songs with Ensemble Megaphon

Quote from Claude Vivier: "To perform or not to perform on stage
Being felt, not understood
Let sounds of others inspire your own
let the music flow out of you as if you were a child.
Notation is only a reminder for certain conditions
never follow the signs, but only their spirit.
In this score, do what you feel you should do and let others do the rest. "Always be in love.

Work text for Jennifer Walshe "A Folk Song Collection"

The "Folk song collections" are two volumes with a total of 57 short to very short, unaccompanied folk or pop songs. The lyrics (English) are a collection of statements, snippets of conversations and comments that the composer has picked up and collected in various public situations (café, underground, supermarket, etc.). The texts are mostly very everyday, sometimes vulgar, but in combination with the music they open up a subtle second layer and thus seem touching and spontaneous in a special way and very contemporary.
