Insects Landscapes<\/strong> is an interactive multimedia performance created in collaboration with VJ Tosh Leykum and the musicians Ashley Hribar (Adelaide, Australia) on the prepared piano and electronics, and tabla virtuoso Sandip Ghosh from Kolkata. The music explores the multidimensional sounds of the tabla and the processed sounds of the piano \u2013 played both from the inside and the outside \u2013 alongside electronics, in a sophisticated mosaic of textures, colours and grooves. These are fused with the hypnotic depiction of \u201einsects and humans\u201c to create a multisensory landscape of dissonance and harmony, which poses the question to the audience: what relationship do we have with these tiny yet vital creatures today?<\/p>\n
