Sounds circle, images rotate, movements intertwine.
LOOPS - a concert series by Ensemble Megaphon - is dedicated to repetition as a central creative element in music. In three programmes, the ensemble playfully combines early and contemporary music, improvisation and electronic loop techniques with dance and movement, visual art, text and drama to create performative collages. All the musicians are also performers and allow sounds, images and movements to circulate in the space. The audience becomes part of the loop. In the midst of the action - listening, seeing, singing, moving - the musical form can be experienced as a pulsating process: familiar, hypnotic and always changing.
