Sounds swirl, images and words whirl, movements intertwine.
Ensemble Megaphon delves into the magic of repetition. In LOOP [the mind], traditional and contemporary music, words and improvisations, as well as loops, merge to form multi-layered collages.  Using acoustic loops, remixes, overdubbing and samples, the ensemble explores the effect of repetition. All the musicians are also performers, allowing sounds, images and words to circulate throughout the space. The audience becomes part of the loop. Right at the heart of the action – listening, watching, singing, moving – the musical form can be experienced as a pulsating process: familiar, hypnotic and constantly changing.

Compositions works by Schumann, Martinů and his own compositions; essays on dreaming
