Nastja Schkinder began her musical education in her native city of Minsk in Belarus and continued in Moscow. In 2010, she moved to Hanover to study at the University of Music and Theatre.
She has won prizes at numerous international competitions and has recorded two solo CDs. Nastja has been invited several times as a jury member to international competitions in Moscow and St. Petersburg. As a soloist, she has travelled to Belarus, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Italy and Germany. Nastja Schkinder was sponsored by the "Yehudi Menuhin - live music now" organisation. She has also received scholarships from the International Vladimir Spivakov Foundation, the Belarusian President's Foundation and the Hannover Region Scholarship.
She works with the Bielefeld Theatre, Osnabrück Theatre, Hamburg Chamber Opera, Forum Russischer Kultur e.V., "Wassilisa" association from Gütersloh, "Klassik in der Klinik" e.V., "Stiftung Edelhof", Langesche Foundation and Anja Fichte Foundation. In addition to her solo career, Nastja concentrates on various chamber music projects.
